Liverpool, NS

Welcome to Liverpool, Nova Scotia, a picturesque and historic town nestled among the trees along the shores of the Mersey River and the Atlantic Ocean. The area was settled in the 1700s and was known as the Port of the Privateer. Situated along the “Lighthouse Route,” lighthouses dating back to the 1800’s can be seen on the south shore of the area. The Fort Point Lighthouse, the third oldest in Nova Scotia, contains a museum and is surrounded by a public park. Liverpool has many museums for a small community which includes the Queens County Museum and Perkins house built in 1766. The famous renowned town of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, known for the Bluenose, is a short 55-minute drive away. There are many beaches to walk and explore along the beautiful coastline of Nova Scotia’s “Ocean Playground.”
